Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit, chapters 20–22, the Brinkley dining-room, next morning, breakfast
At breakfast a beaming Stilton thanks Bertie for freeing him from Florence and leaves to go rowing with Daphne, then Mrs. Trotter reads that Robert Blenkinsop has been knighted and orders Trotter to refuse any knighthood, wrecking Aunt Dahlia's hold on him, just as Seppings brings in a pearl necklace.
The text is on its way.
Aside, recently Stilton recalls that Florence said he had a head like a pumpkin, which cured him of loving her.
Aside, the previous evening Spode describes being hit on the head by something hard and waking in his room, which Aunt Dahlia passes off as a giddy fall.
