Very Good, Jeeves, chapter 3, the Moat Room, Christmas Eve night, half-past two
Bertie creeps into the Moat Room and punctures the hot-water bottle, only to find it is Sir Roderick's, who has swapped rooms with Tuppy; caught by his dressing-gown in the door, he is hauled back, called insane, and left in the soaked room while Sir Roderick takes his bed.
